The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels (HKETO, Brussels) promoted business and investment opportunities in Hong Kong at a seminar in Bucharest, Romania, on May 24 (Bucharest time).
Deputy Representative of HKETO, Brussels Miss Grace Li introduced Hong Kong's unique advantages as an international business hub in Asia, emphasising its strengths in financial services, logistics, innovation and technology. Miss Li encouraged Romanian enterprises to make use of Hong Kong's excellent services and platform to expand their businesses into the Asian markets.
"We are located at the heart of Asia. Upholding the principle of 'one country, two systems', Hong Kong has the irreplaceable distinct advantages of being a connector between Mainland China and the world," Miss Li said. She also highlighted relevant facilitation measures, and encouraged enterprises and talent to develop business and careers in Hong Kong.
Other speakers at the seminar included representatives from Invest Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Romania, as well as Romanian companies doing business with Hong Kong.
