The Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Brussels (HKETO, Brussels), together with Invest Hong Kong, hosted a reception in Cascais, Portugal, on September 3 (Cascais time) to strengthen Hong Kong-Portugal economic ties. The event was organised for the local business community and government officials, with the support of the Portugal-Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Speaking at the reception, a representative of the HKETO, Brussels highlighted Hong Kong's role as the gateway to tap business opportunities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Moreover, with a vibrant innovation and technology community and the Government’s supporting policies, Hong Kong is the perfect testing ground for international business collaboration and for start-ups. Guests were encouraged to explore Asia’s world city, as Hong Kong's rich cultural life has also made it an attractive place to live, to work and to study.
