To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival (September 29) and the National Day (October 1), and to be in complement with the Night Vibes Hong Kong campaign launched by the Government, the Hong Kong Housing Authority (HA) has adorned its shopping centres with Mid-Autumn Festival decorations and arranged a series of celebratory events at night at Domain, the HA's flagship shopping centre in Yau Tong, East Kowloon, so that members of the public and shoppers alike may enjoy the fun of the festival and feel the vibrancy and liveliness of Hong Kong's night vibes.

"The HA always strives to provide a variety of programmes in its shopping centres to enhance the shopping ambience and increase patronage. To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day and to be in complement with the Night Vibes Hong Kong campaign, not only we have decorated a number of our shopping centres with festive decorations but will organise a series of interesting night-time events and consumption rewards at Domain. Visitors may participate in the various activities and programmes and enjoy the fun in going out for some night-time entertainment, while adding dynamic elements to the shopping atmosphere and night vibes," a spokesman for the HA said today (September 22).

At Domain, a wide array of Mid-Autumn Festival decorations are in place, including walls of lanterns, a goldfish on the floor, a starfruit wishing tree, a smiley moon, a giant walk-in lantern and giant rabbit lanterns. It is worth mentioning that more than 100 lanterns and two 2-metre-high giant rabbits have been placed at the ground floor atrium and the roof garden respectively, offering visitors, their friends and family members photo-ops and "check-in" opportunities.

To complement the promotion of the Night Vibes Hong Kong campaign, there will be fantastic programmes at Domain during the night of the Mid-Autumn Festival, including a stage show featuring popular singers, busking performances, group singing and dancing performances, water lanterns for pledging wishes. Subject to spending requirements, Domain Club members may redeem a water lantern for pledging a wish at the roof garden. In addition, all visitors may redeem a complimentary gift or one-hour free parking for any spending between 8pm and 10pm during the Mid-Autumn Festival night at Domain.

To contribute to the dynamic vibes of the city's night life, Domain will partner with non-government organisations and retail merchants to hold a night market. There will be more than 10 stalls, along with popcorn and cotton candy stands, at Domain during the period from September 29 (Mid-Autumn Festival) to October 1 (National Day).

In celebration of the National Day, Domain will launch special offers for shoppers on October 1. Domain Club members will receive an exclusive gift subject to spending requirements, with an extra gift or one-hour free parking if they happen to be wearing any red clothing or red accessories on that day.
