Government posts land resumption notices for developments at Chuk Yuen United Village and Ngau Chi Wan Village, Wong Tai Sin
​The Lands Department today (September 14) posted land resumption notices in accordance with section 4 of the Lands Resumption Ordinance (Chapter 124) and section 14 of the Roads (Works, Use and Compensation) Ordinance (Chapter 370) for the implementation of developments at Chuk Yuen United Village and Ngau Chi Wan Village, Wong Tai Sin.
Sixty-three private lots with a total area of about 0.73 hectares will be resumed by the Government. The land will revert to the Government upon the expiry of a period of three months from the date of affixing the notices (i.e. December 15).
The Government will closely liaise with the affected parties and handle compensation matters.
The developments at Chuk Yuen United Village and Ngau Chi Wan Village, Wong Tai Sin, will provide about 1 500 and 2 700 flats respectively upon completion. Their first batches of population intake are expected in 2029 and 2031 respectively.
