Government invites proposals for premises at No. 2 Lower Albert Road, South Block, Central for arts and culture use

     The Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau (CSTB) is now inviting non-profit-making organisations to submit proposals for operating, managing, maintaining and developing for arts and culture use the premises situated on portions of the basement and the whole of all the ground floor, the first floor and the roof of No. 2 Lower Albert Road, South Block, Central, Hong Kong, for a period of three years from April 1, 2024.
      
     The Invitation for Proposal (IFP) exercise will identify the most suitable non-profit-making operator of the premises currently occupied by the Fringe Club after the current lease. All non-profit-making operators, including the current one, may submit proposals in this exercise. The selected applicant will operate, manage, maintain and develop the premises as a unique arts and culture icon to support the continued development of arts and culture, in particular programmes by small and medium-sized arts groups and the youths.
      
     Interested applicants must submit a proposal in response to the IFP exercise before 5.30pm on October 20. All proposals must reach the CSTB (Culture Division (1), Culture Branch, Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau, 13/F, West Wing, Central Government Office, 2 Tim Mei Avenue, Tamar, Hong Kong) by mail or by hand.
