In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Basic Law of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China, the State Council, on the recommendation of the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Mrs Carrie Lam, decided on February 24, 2022, to remove Mr Caspar Tsui Ying-wai from the post of Secretary for Home Affairs.
