Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident happened in Tsuen Wan in the small hours today (September 27) in which a man died.
At 0.12am, a motorcycle driven by a 38-year-old man was travelling along Route Twisk towards Tsuen Wan, while a private car driven by a 24-year-old man was travelling along Route Twisk towards Shek Kong. When the private car was approaching 98 Route Twisk, it reportedly collided with the motorcycle.
Sustaining serious head injuries, the motorcyclist was rushed to Princess Margaret Hospital and was certified dead at 7.44am.
The private car driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for enquiries.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories South is underway.
