Fatal traffic accident in Sheung Shui
Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Sheung Shui this morning (June 28) in which a 33-year-old man died.
At 6.18am, a coach driven by the 33-year-old man was travelling along Castle Peak Road – Kwu Tung towards Sheung Shui. When approaching the junction of Castle Peak Road – Kwu Tung and Fan Kam Road, the coach reportedly side-turned after it lost control and rammed into barriers and trees.
The coach driver fell out from the coach. Sustaining multiple injuries, he was rushed to North District Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 7.16am.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North is underway.
