Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Sai Kung yesterday (October 11) in which a 25-year-old man died.
At about 10.50pm, a motorcycle driven by the 25-year-old man was travelling along Tai Mong Tsai Road towards Pak Tam Chung. When approaching Wong Keng Tei, the motorcycle reportedly rammed into a dog. The motorcycle then lost control, dashed to the opposite lane and collided with a motorcycle driven by a 38-year-old man.
Sustaining multiple injuries, the 25-year-old man was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 11.55pm. The 38-year-old man sustained injuries to limbs and was sent to Tseung Kwan O Hospital in conscious state.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East is underway.
