Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Sai Kung this morning (April 21) in which a 74-year-old man died.
At around 11.05am, a private car driven by a 60-year-old man was travelling along Sai Sha Road towards Sai Kung. When approaching Wong Chuk Wan, it reportedly collided with a taxi ahead.
The 74-year-old male taxi driver was rushed to Prince of Wales Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 1.55pm.
The 60-year-old private car driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death. He is being detained for further enquiries.
Investigation will be conducted by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon East.
