Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Cheung Sha Wan last night (September 29) in which a 66-year-old man died.
At about 10.30 pm, a public light bus (PLB) driven by a 66-year-old man was travelling along Lung Yuet Road westbound. When approaching near Chak On Estate, it reportedly lost control and rammed into the kerb and railings.
The PLB driver was later found lying at the hillside and rescued by firemen. Sustaining multiple injuries, he was sent to Caritas Medical Centre in unconscious state and was certified dead at 0.13am today (September 30).
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Kowloon West is underway.
