Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident happened in Chai Wan this afternoon (November 16) in which a woman died.
At about 1.27pm, a special purpose vehicle driven by a 66-year-old man reportedly knocked down a 93-year-old female passerby, when reversing to a school on 3 Harmony Road.
Sustaining serious multiple injuries, the woman was certified dead at scene at 2.25pm.
The driver was arrested for dangerous driving causing death and is being detained for enquiries.
Investigation by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, Hong Kong Island is under way.
