Exploring HK’s built heritage

     There are 120 declared monuments in Hong Kong which are protected by law from being altered. The University of Hong Kong's Eliot Hall, May Hall and Fung Ping Shan Building exteriors are recent additions to the list.
 
     News.gov.hk spoke to the Antiquities and Monuments Office's Assistant Curator I (Monument Buildings) to find out about the architectural features and historical value of the three declared monuments and the importance of preserving Hong Kong’s heritage.
