A spokesman for the Government announced today (September 13) that the number of medical testing institutions for taking a COVID-19 nucleic acid test in Guangdong Province that are mutually recognised by the Governments of Hong Kong and Guangdong will be increased from 54 to more than 700, starting from September 15 (Wednesday). The expanded list of testing institutions will be applicable to the current Return2hk Scheme as well as the Come2hk Scheme, which will be launched on September 15.
Members of the public can access the list of medical testing institutions in Guangdong Province via the nucleic acid testing organisation enquiry function on the State Council Portal Mini Program, or via its official website (bmfw.www.gov.cn/hsjcjgcx/index.html) (Chinese only). Relevant medical testing institutions will upload the nucleic acid test results of the tested persons to the Yuekang Code system, and travellers who are planning to enter Hong Kong under the Return2hk Scheme or the Come2hk Scheme from September 15 onwards may use the results as valid proof of a negative nucleic acid test result.
