ExCo Non-official Members congratulate Hong Kong boccia athletes on winning medals at Paris Paralympics

The following is issued on behalf of the Executive Council Secretariat:

     Non-official Members of the Executive Council (ExCo Non-official Members) today (September 6) expressed their warmest congratulations to Hong Kong athletes Ho Yuen-kei, Tse Tak-wah, Cheung Yuen and Leung Yuk-wing for winning a gold medal and a silver medal in the Boccia Mixed Pairs BC3 and the Mixed Pairs BC4 events at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games respectively. They also expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the boccia team and its coaches.

     The Convenor of ExCo Non-official Members, Mrs Regina Ip, said, "The four athletes showcased their great skills and exceptional chemistry in the matches, winning two more medals for the Hong Kong, China Delegation. The Hong Kong boccia team has won a total of five medals in this year's Paralympic Games, which is testimony to the capability of Hong Kong athletes. Their hard work and efforts as well as their remarkable achievements are truly admirable and have made us proud."

     ExCo Non-official Members hope that the Hong Kong, China Delegation will continue to unleash their potential in the remaining events.
