The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 2017 ASEAN Summit.
Dmitry Medvedev has accepted Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong’s invitation to visit Singapore in 2018 for the 50th anniversary of bilateral diplomatic relations.
During their meeting, the prime ministers of Russia and Singapore spoke in favour of promoting bilateral cooperation. Dmitry Medvedev pointed out the progress of investment cooperation in transport, education and the training of managerial personnel.
The parties also agreed to step up preparations for a free trade agreement between Singapore and the Eurasian Economic Union.
Deputy Prime Minister and Government Chief of Staff Sergei Prikhodko, Minister of Transport Maxim Sokolov and representatives of other departments participated from the Russian side.
