Dmitry Medvedev expresses condolences to Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq Haider al-Abadi on the numerous victims and damage caused by the earthquake in northern Iraq

The message reads, in part:

“On behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation and personally, I express my deepest condolences over the victims and destruction caused by the earthquake in northern Iraq.

I hope the recovery from this natural disaster is rapid.”
