Dmitry Medvedev expresses condolences to President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hassan Rouhani on the numerous victims and damage caused by the earthquake in western Iran

The message reads, in part:

“On behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation and personally, I wish to express my sincere condolences over the numerous victims and destruction caused by the earthquake in western Iran.

Please convey my words of sympathy and support to the families and loved ones of those killed and my wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured.”
