Dmitry Medvedev expresses condolences to President of Indonesia Joko Widodo over the numerous deaths resulting from the tsunami in Indonesia’s Sunda Strait

The message reads, in part:

“On behalf of the Government of the Russian Federation and me personally, let me express my heartfelt condolences over the numerous deaths caused by the violent tsunami that hit coastal areas of Indonesia’s Sunda Strait following the Krakatau volcano’s eruption.

Mr President, please convey our words of sympathy and support to the families of the victims and our wishes for a speedy recovery to all those injured and affected.”
