DH’s Aberdeen Elderly Health Centre service adjusted in light of activation of HA’s designated clinic

The Department of Health (DH) today (February 28) announced that, as its Aberdeen Elderly Health Centre (EHC) is situated at the same location with a designated clinic to be activated by the Hospital Authority (HA) tomorrow (March 1), the EHC will adjust its service from tomorrow. This is because the HA's dispensary, which has been all along providing dispensing services to the EHC's members, will no longer be able to support the EHC's services upon activation of the designated clinic.

The Aberdeen EHC is located at LG/F, Block B, Aberdeen Jockey Club Clinic, 10 Aberdeen Reservoir Road. From tomorrow, it will continue to provide walk-in COVID-19 vaccination (CoronaVac) service for persons aged 65 or above, while booked medical consultation services for members will be temporarily relocated to the Sai Ying Pun EHC located at 6/F, Sai Ying Pun Jockey Club Polyclinic, 134 Queen's Road West. The staff of the centre will make further arrangements for those affected members with booked appointments.

â€‹While other clinics and service units under the DH will not be affected by the HA's designated clinics to be activated tomorrow, the routes for entry and exit may be adjusted. Visitors should pay attention to the on-site arrangements and follow the instructions of staff. Information on the DH's clinics and service units is available at www.dh.gov.hk/english/index.html.
