Hongkong Post announced today (December 27) that due to a fire incident at the posting box outside the Sau Mau Ping Post Office this morning, some mails are damaged. The Police are now investigating the cause of the fire. If members of the public posted mail at the said posting box after 4.30pm on December 24 and wish to inquire about the status of their mail, they may call the Hongkong Post hotline at 2525 5856 during office hours. Hongkong Post has set up a temporary posting box at the above post office for public use.
Hongkong Post apologises for any inconvenience caused.
