The Civil Service Bureau (CSB) will participate in the Education & Careers Expo 2025 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai from January 16 (Thursday) for four consecutive days to publicise the work of the civil service and related information, including entry requirements, pay and fringe benefits as well as training and career development opportunities. Persons with aspirations to join the Government and serve the public are encouraged to visit.
The CSB will hold 16 sharing sessions under the Careers in the Government Talk Series in its booth (1D – C02 in Hall 1D), where serving civil servants from different bureaux and departments will introduce information of individual grades, entry requirements, job application and interview skills and career prospects, and share their work experiences and answer questions from participants. The CSB will also set up an information corner in its booth for the first time. Serving civil servants from 14 bureaux and departments will be stationed at different time slots to introduce information on relevant grades and answer enquiries.
In addition, the CSB will hold three thematic seminars from January 17 (Friday) to January 19 (Sunday) on employment information of Administrative Officer Grade, Executive Officer Grade, and Clerical and Secretarial Grades respectively at the Careers Forum in Hall 1D.
Details of the sharing sessions, information corner and thematic seminars are set out in the Annex. Persons who are interested in learning more about the related grades or applying for the jobs are welcome to take the opportunity to communicate with serving civil servants to gain a better understanding of the relevant grades.
The CSB will distribute stamp cards to visitors. After attempting questions at the game kiosk in the CSB's booth or attending any of the above talks, visitors can get a stamp to redeem a souvenir. They can also collect stamps by completing tasks at the other 14 government departments' booths at the expo and redeem a souvenir with a designated number of stamps at the CSB's booth while stock lasts.
