CSB participates in Education & Careers Expo 2025 to introduce diverse development opportunities in Government (with photos)

     The Civil Service Bureau (CSB) has curated an exhibition area at the Education & Careers Expo 2025 from today (January 16) for four consecutive days to introduce the work of over 50 government grades and provide the public with information on civil service recruitment to enhance job seekers' understanding of government jobs.

     The Secretary for the Civil Service, Mrs Ingrid Yeung, and the Permanent Secretary for the Civil Service, Mr Clement Leung, visited the exhibition booths set up by various government departments at the Expo today. They chatted with students to learn about their interests and career preferences, and to encourage young people to take an active role in public service.

     Apart from introducing the work and recruitment information of different government grades, 16 sharing sessions under the Careers in the Government Talk Series will also be held during the exhibition, where representatives from different departments will share their work experiences and answer questions from participants.

     Mrs Yeung joined one of the sharing sessions under the Careers in the Government Talk Series, and watched officers from Radio Television Hong Kong introducing the work of the Assistant Programme Officer grade to students. She said, "The exhibition enables young people to learn more about the work of the Government at an early stage. I am very glad to see so many secondary school and university students here today. I believe that the event will help them in making their career choices in future. The civil service offers a wide variety of jobs that are extremely meaningful and at the same time challenging. The civil service serves the public with dedication, and is reputed for its efficiency and professionalism. I encourage young people who aspire to serve the community to join the Government and play a part in building the future of Hong Kong."

      The Education & Careers Expo 2025 is being held from today to January 19 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The CSB's booth number is 1D-C02 at Hall 1D. Details of the sharing sessions under the Careers in the Government Talk Series and information corner are set out in the Annex. Admission is free.
