CMAB to participate in Education & Careers Expo to showcase Greater Bay Area opportunities
The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Development Office (GBA Development Office) under the Constitutional and Mainland Affairs Bureau (CMAB) will set up a booth in the Education & Careers Expo 2021 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from July 15 for four consecutive days to introduce the opportunities on study, work and entrepreneurship for Hong Kong young people in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).
A spokesman for the CMAB said that the rich content of the booth will enhance Hong Kong young people's understanding of the development of the GBA. Also, through the introduction of the various supporting schemes tailor-made for them and the relevant facilitation measures, young people who wish to pursue further development in the Mainland cities of the GBA will be provided with the latest and practical information. This will help them explore the many opportunities on study, work and entrepreneurship, etc, from the development of the GBA so that they can have greater room to fulfil their dreams.
The GBA is one of the most open and economically vibrant regions in the country bringing enormous opportunities to Hong Kong. The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government has been actively taking forward the development of the GBA, and encouraging all sectors of the community, especially young people, to participate in the development of GBA to pursue further development for themselves and for Hong Kong.
The Education & Careers Expo 2021 will be held at Hall 5 of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre and admission is free. The booth of the GBA Development Office will be located at Hall 5G (Booth 5G – B01) and will be opened from 10.30am to 7pm from July 15 to July 17, and from 10.30am to 6pm on July 18. GBA-themed interactive games will be set up in the booth and souvenirs will be distributed while stocks last.
