The Leisure and Cultural Services Department (LCSD) has launched an online ballet programme called "Clap the Beat, Dance in Chic".
The programme is an educational project with five episodes to promote dance appreciation through understanding and correlating ballet music and ballet movement. Dance teacher Shirley Loong and pianist Willy Ng have recognised that there is a very strong tie between music and ballet that helps better understand music rhythms.
