CEDD public services to gradually resume

     The Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD) announced today (March 30) that the Civil Engineering Library, in-person applications for dumping licences and sand removal permits, and the Permit and Licensing Office of the Mines Division will gradually resume service from Friday (April 1) with a view to providing normal public services from April 21. Details are as follows:
 
From April 1 to April 20
(1) The Civil Engineering Library will open from 10am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 4pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday;
(2) In-person applications for dumping licences and sand removal permits can be made from 2pm to 5pm, Monday to Friday; and
(3) The Permit and Licensing Office of the Mines Division will open from 9am to noon, Monday to Friday.

April 21 onwards
(1) The Civil Engineering Library will open from 9am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 5pm, Monday to Friday;
(2) In-person applications for dumping licences and sand removal permits can be made from 9am to noon and from 2pm to 5pm, Monday to Friday; and
(3) The Permit and Licensing Office of the Mines Division will open from 9am to noon and from 2pm to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
 
     The CEDD appeals to the public to submit applications for dumping licences, sand removal permits and explosives licences and permits by post, fax or online to minimise social contact.
