Hong Kong athletes at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games brought good news again to the city today (September 5, Paris Time). Tse Tak-wah and Ho Yuen-kei won the gold medal in the Boccia Mixed Pairs BC3 event, while Leung Yuk-wing and Cheung Yuen won the silver medal in the Boccia Mixed Pairs BC4 event. The Chief Executive, Mr John Lee, expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the athletes and their coaches.
"The four athletes performed at their best and showed superb skills with team spirit in the competitions. Among them, Leung Yuk-wing, who represents Hong Kong, China to participate in Paralympics for the sixth time, won a medal again. His achievements are remarkable.
"All Hong Kong people and I are proud of the outstanding performance and professionalism of the four athletes. I call on members of the public to continue to follow the latest updates about the delegation and support Hong Kong athletes," Mr Lee said.
The Hong Kong, China Delegation has so far won three gold medals, four silver medals and one bronze medal at this year's Paralympic Games.
