CE congratulates Cheung Yuen on winning medal at Paris Paralympics
​Hong Kong boccia athlete Cheung Yuen today (September 2, Paris time) won the silver medal in the Women's Individual BC4 event at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games. The Chief Executive, Mr John Lee, expressed his heartfelt congratulations to Cheung Yuen and her coaches.
"Cheung Yuen, who participated in the Paralympic Games for the first time, remained resilient against the world's best athletes throughout the competitions and achieved an outstanding performance, capturing the silver medal finally. All Hong Kong people and I are proud of her," Mr Lee said.
The Hong Kong, China Delegation has so far won one gold medal, two silver medals and one bronze medal at this year's Paralympic Games.
