Big Wave Bay Beach and Hung Shing Yeh Beach temporarily closed

     Here is an item of interest to swimmers.

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (September 9) that Big Wave Bay Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island and Hung Shing Yeh Beach in Islands District are temporarily closed until further notice for maintenance of shark prevention net. Red flags have been hoisted at these beaches. Beachgoers are advised not to swim at these beaches.
