The Vice President of India, Shri M. Venkaiah Naidu has greeted people on the auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. In a message, he said that Lord Rama is revered as an embodiment of righteousness and as an ideal human being whose life was an eloquent inspirational message.

He was interacting with the Vice President of Zimbabwe, General (Rtd) Dr. Constantino Chiwenga, the Vice President of Uganda, Mr. Edward Kiwanuka Ssekandi and the Vice President of Malawi, Dr. Saulos Klaus Chilima, who called on him separately, here today.

The Union Home Minister Shri Rajnath Singh said that India is vulnerable to narcotic drug trafficking as it is located between two largest Opium producing regions of the world i.e. Golden Crescent in the west and Golden Triangle in the east.
