The government has welcomed the monetary policy statement. In his statement welcoming the policy statement, issued today, Secretary, DEA, Sh Subhash Chandra Garg said “The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) today revised upwards its forecast of real  GDP growth from 7.2 percent in its February 2018 Statement to 7.4 percent, broadly in line with the forecast in the Economic Survey.

The Central Board of Direct Taxes(CBDT) has notified Income Tax Return Forms (ITR Forms) for the Assessment Year 2018-19. For Assessment Year 2017-18, a one page simplified ITR Form-1(Sahaj) was notified.

The Ministry of Finance, Government of India welcomes the First bi-monthly Statement of the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) in the Financial Year 2018-19.

Earlier, the Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) in its first bi-monthly Statement of 2018-19, issued today, updated its real GDP growth and inflation projections for 2017-18 and 2018-19.
