UKIP interim leader, Gerard Batten MEP, last night announced the first three members of his new leadership team, saying he was “choosing people with strength in depth” and “who showed a true desire to move the party forward.” 

UKIP’s Margot Parker MEP has reacted to the latest reports on female genital mutilation. Findings suggest that almost all known cases of FGM carried out in the UK are legal piercings.

With the average student debt running at £50,000, rising to an average of £57,000 for the poorest, there has been growing concern regarding the cost of going to university and whether it represents value for money.
