     The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) wishes to alert members of the public to a press release issued by Bank of China (Hong Kong) Limited on phishing email, which has been reported to the HKMA. Hyperlink to the press release is available on the HKMA website for ease of reference by members of the public.
 
     Anyone who has provided his or her personal information to the email concerned or has conducted any financial transactions through the email should contact the bank concerned using the contact information provided in the press release, and report to the Police or contact the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau of the Hong Kong Police Force at 2860 5012.

     Last night (November 18), rioters wreaked havoc and hurled numerous petrol bombs in Kowloon. This morning (November 18), Police officers of Yau Tsim District received multiple reports from members of the public that a large amount of dangerous items, including corrosive fluid and petrol bombs, were found on the street.

     Police appeal to members of the public to seek Police assistance as soon as possible if they find such dangerous items, and to keep a safe distance. Do not come into contact with the items to avoid injuries.

     The Judiciary has announced that having regard to the situation in the vicinity of Jordan, subject to any directions of the presiding Judge or Judicial Officer concerned and until further announcement, all hearings of the Lands Tribunal and the Labour Tribunal originally scheduled for yesterday, today (November 19) and thereafter are adjourned to a date and time to be notified by the court in due course. All relevant parties to the proceedings affected should keep in view any further notification by the court or public announcements by the Judiciary. 

     The registries and offices of the two Tribunals remain closed today until further announcement.

     The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (November 19) that due to big waves, red flags have been hoisted at Stanley Main Beach and Big Wave Bay Beach in Southern District, Hong Kong Island; and Silverstrand Beach and Clear Water Bay Second Beach in Sai Kung District. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at these beaches.
