The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (August 25) that due to big waves, red flags have been hoisted at Hung Shing Yeh Beach, Cheung Chau Tung Wan Beach, Pui O Beach and Lower Cheung Sha Beach in Islands District. Beachgoers are advised not to swim at these beaches.

The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (August 25) that since the water off Golden Beach in Tuen Mun District is now suitable for swimming, the red flag has been lowered.
The red flag was hoisted at the beach earlier on after a red tide was found.
