Liquor Licensing Board to meet on Tuesday

The following is issued on behalf of the Liquor Licensing Board:

     The Liquor Licensing Board will meet on Tuesday (September 5) to consider an application for transfer of liquor licence.

     The application is:

Nan Ei Sui San in Tsim Sha Tsui

     The board will also consider revocation of the liquor licences of Chino in Kennedy Town and SUSHI MI in Tsim Sha Tsui.

     The meeting will be held at 9.45am in the conference room, Room 102, 1/F, 258 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai. Members of the public are welcome to attend. read more

Govt, community-created dream park

     What was once a sewage pumping station in Kwun Tong is now a deck park thanks to the Drainage Services Department and its goal of fulfilling the Government’s “single site, multiple use” initiative and meeting the public’s needs.

     News.gov.hk spoke to the department’s project engineers to learn more about their meticulous process of integrating the opinions of different stakeholders through various means to improve the overall design of the park and its facilities.
