Liquor Licensing Board to meet on Tuesday

The following is issued on behalf of the Liquor Licensing Board:

     The Liquor Licensing Board will meet on Tuesday (June 19) to consider five applications for new issue or renewal of liquor licences.

     The applications are (not in order of discussion):
 
Hong Kong:

WHEAT AND WOOD in Kennedy Town
RIO in Wan Chai
 
Kowloon:

FUTURE LOUNGE, A2 Pub (HK) Company Limited and Vista Bar in Mong Kok
 
     The board will also consider revoking the liquor licence of Seolleongtang in Sheung Wan.
 
     The meeting will be held at 9.45am in the conference room, Room 102, 1/F, 258 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai. Members of the public are welcome to attend, except during the private session on confidential items.

     Paralympians suffer injuries just like their able-bodied counterparts, so the Hong Kong Research Institute of Textiles and Apparel has developed a high-performance wheelchair cushion for boccia players.
