School facilities boost HK sports

     The Government has been encouraging public sector schools to open up their facilities for sports organisations to enhance sporting culture.
 
     News.gov.hk interviewed the assistant coach of the Hong Kong Women's National Ice Hockey Team to see how the Opening up School Facilities for Promotion of Sports Development Scheme and a primary school's synthetic ice rink have benefited both his players' development and the school.

     Owing to the thunderstorm warning, the flag-raising ceremony to be conducted at Golden Bauhinia Square, Wan Chai at 8am today (August 12) will be cancelled.
