Specialty care for special kids

     The new Hong Kong Children's Hospital (HKCH), located at the Kai Tak Development Area, is about to open in phases with the specialist outpatient clinic going into service first on December 18.

     The city's first children's hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including a hydrotherapy pool and incorporates colourful, animal-themed designs on all floors and patient rooms.

     News.gov.hk spoke to its healthcare professionals and Hospital Chief Executive to find out more about the facility's special features that reflect the concept of being a children-centred and family-friendly hospital.

Man holding charged with murder

     Police today (December 8) laid a holding charge against a 26-year-old man with one count of murder.

     The man was arrested on December 6 in suspected connection with a murder case happened in Aberdeen in which his 65-year-old father died.

     The case will be mentioned at Eastern Magistrates' Courts on December 10.
