The Leisure and Cultural Services Department announced today (April 28) that due to big waves, the red flag has been hoisted at Silverstrand Beach in Sai Kung District. Beach-goers are advised not to swim at the beach.
Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident in Castle Peak this evening (April 27) in which a 27-year-old man died.
At about 6.17pm, a motorcycle driven by the 27-year-old man was travelling along Tuen Mun Road towards Tuen Mun. When approaching Tsing Yung Street, it reportedly lost control and the motorcyclist fell onto the ground.
Sustaining multiple injuries, the motorcyclist was rushed to Tuen Mun Hospital in unconscious state and was certified dead at 6.48pm.
Investigation will be conducted by the Special Investigation Team of Traffic, New Territories North.
