Murphy and Hargey welcome Marriage Equality Milestone

Finance Minister Conor Murphy, Communities Minister Deirdre Hargey and the Lord Mayor of Belfast, Daniel Baker have welcomed the first same-sex marriage, which will take place tomorrow.




Poots hopeful that ‘Finn’s Law’ can be introduced in the very near future

Agriculture Minister Edwin Poots MLA has said that ‘Finn’s Law’ is an important issue and one that he is hopeful can be developed within the lifetime of this Assembly.




Work underway on upgrade of Derry’s Bonds Hill

The Bonds Hill area of the Waterside is to benefit from a £255,000 public realm scheme, Communities Minister Deirdre Hargey has said.




Pay increase for agricultural workers

Following a meeting on 17 January 2020, the Agricultural Wages Board for Northern Ireland has announced proposed increases to the minimum wage rates for agricultural workers.
