Health Minister Robin Swann has welcomed the Northern Ireland Executive’s decision to make the wearing of face coverings mandatory in shops.

The Executive has today agreed further relaxations to restrictions as part of its Coronavirus recovery pathway.

The Department of Health continues to publish the Covid-19 reproduction number on a weekly basis.

During the 8th annual Farm Safety Week, the Ministers met with Co Tyrone man William Sayers who came close to losing his life as a 12-year-old boy when he lost his arm after his coat became entangled in a tractor shaft as he helped to spread slurry on family land.

A Department for the Economy spokesperson said: “The Minister recognises the huge importance of HMS Caroline (HMSC) as part of our maritime history, and the importance of remembering and honouring the sacrifices made by those who served in the Navy during the First World War.
