Doorstep criminal given suspended jail sentence in Belfast Crown Court for defrauding consumer

A Lurgan-based trader was today given an 18 month custodial sentence, suspended for three years, at Belfast Crown Court for defrauding a Belfast man after cold-calling at his home and carrying out building work at the property.

Residents recently highlighted to me that at the tenants’ car park between Lower Pleasance and Polepark Road, a buddleia is starting to take over and will no doubt start to cause damage to the boundary wall if left to its own devices.


I raised this with the City Council and have been assured it will be passed to appropriate officers for attention.
