Production Performance of Oil & Natural Gas Sector for March, 2017
Crude oil production during March, 2017 was 3090.40 TMT which is 6.26% lower than target but 0.94% higher when compared with March 2016.
Global Crude oil price of Indian Basket was US$ 51.22 per bbl on 21.04.2017
The international crude oil price of Indian Basket as computed/published today by Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas was US$ 51.22 per barrel (bbl) on 21.04.2017. This was lower than the price of US$ 51.66 per bbl on previous publishing day of 20.04.2017.

At the third meeting of the Governing Council, NITI Aayog, the CEO, NITI, Shri Amitabh Kant, apprised the gathering of the work done by Niti Aayog for transforming the economy and cooperation with States in the sectors of education, health, infrastructure etc. He spoke of the work done by the sub-groups of Chief Ministers on rationalisation of Centrally Sponsored Schemes, Swachh Bharat Mission and Skill Development.
