Dr Mahendra Nath Pandey, MoS HRD visited the Indian Institute of Management, Shillong today. On arrival, the Minister was taken for a first-hand view of the premises at IIM Shillong’s current campus, including the auditorium where Dr. Kalam had delivered his last lecture.
PFRDA conducts workshop on National Pension System (NPS) for Corporates in coordination with FICCI at Ahmedabad; Overall number of NPS and APY subscribers have crossed 1.60 crores with overall Asset under Management (AUM) of more than 1,87,000 crores.
Pension Fund Regulatory Development Authority (PFRDA) in its endeavor to promote NPS among the Corporates have embarked upon conducting NPS Workshops at various locations across the country. A Corporate Meet was conducted at Ahmedabad,Gujarat today in association with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), Gujarat State Council.
New Projects Inaugurated at Kamarajar Port in Tamil Nadu
The Union Minister of Shipping, Road Transport & Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari has said that an investment of Rs 2 lakh 50000 crore is being made in Tamil Nadu under Sagarmala. Of this Rs.39,000 crore will be for port modernization, Rs.55,000 crore for port connectivity and Rs.1,50,000 crore for port led industrialization.
Second edition of National Health Editors’ Conference on Yoga held in New Delhi today
The second edition of National Health Editors’ Conference on Yoga was inaugurated by Minister of State for AYUSH (Independent Charge), Shri Shripad Yesso Naik at National Media Centre in New Delhi today. The conference was organized by Ministry of AYUSH in association with the Press Information Bureau (PIB), M/o Information & Broadcasting; and Central Council for Research in Yoga and Naturopathy (M/o AYUSH) as a part of celebrations of the 3rd International Day of Yoga on 21st June, 2017.
