Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister, Shri Radha Mohan Singh said that agriculture plays an important role in the lives of our people and economy of the country where more than 50 per cent of people are dependent on agriculture for their livelihood.

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) which is managing 126 airports (including Civil Enclaves) have taken up the onerous task of preparing a comprehensive National Register containing details of all Civil Airports and Airstrips in the country and the work carried out is first of its kind.
