PM condoles the demise of Shri Naresh Chandra




Following are the major highlights of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India’s Judgement on Aadhar PAN Linkage:

1. The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in its Landmark Judgement has upheld Section139AA of the Income Tax Act,1961 as constitutionally valid which required quoting of the Aadhaar number in applying for PAN as well as for filing of income tax returns.




DGFT creates GST Facilitation Cell for exporters

DGFT has constituted a GST facilitation cell in DGFT Headquarters to assist and advice exporters , trade and industry for smooth transition from present regime to GST regime w.e.f. 1st July 2017.The GST facilitation cell is headed by Mr Nikunj Kumar Srivastava, Add DGFT and comprises two other officers Mr Rakesh Kumar Joint DGFT(r.kumar73@nic.in), Mr Kaushlendra Pratap Singh Deputy DGFT(Kaushlendrap.singh@nic.in.




M/o AYUSH launches awareness drive to increase popularity of Yoga through life-size Mascots

The Central Council for Research in Yoga & Naturopathy (CCRYN) under the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, has initiated a Yoga Awareness Drive through Mascots and Flash Mobs (YogMob) prior to International Yoga Day (21st June) to increase popularity of Yoga especially among the youth.
