ANE: Hearing of Appeal Board on Public Meetings and Processions
The following is issued on behalf of the Appeal Board on Public Meetings and Processions:
The Appeal Board on Public Meetings and Processions will hear tomorrow (October 19) at 11.30am an appeal lodged by the Civil Human Rights Front in respect of a notice issued by the Police on a public procession to be held in Kowloon on October 20.
The hearing will be chaired by Ms Betty Chan at the Hall of Sai Ying Pun Community Complex (3/F, 2 High Street, Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong).
You are invited to cover the hearing. Media representatives are requested to assemble for registration at 11.15am.
Seats reserved for media representatives will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. No standing is allowed inside the venue. One reporter/representative is allowed for each media organisation. Latecomers will not be admitted. Media reporters/representatives are required to present valid press badges for admission to the venue.
Photo taking, sound recording, video recording and interviewing are not allowed inside the venue.
The hearing will be conducted in Cantonese. No simultaneous interpretation will be provided. Media representatives in attendance must remain quiet and seated during the hearing and mobile phones should be switched off.
