The Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Mr Chris Sun, will depart for Hangzhou tomorrow morning (August 13).
While in Hangzhou, Mr Sun will join a number of activities of a Mainland study tour under the Strive and Rise Programme, including a visit to Zhejiang University and the tour-closing dinner. He will visit local enterprises and an elderly care service centre, and meet with relevant local officials. The Director of Hong Kong Talent Engage, Mr Anthony Lau, will also join the visit.
Mr Sun will return to Hong Kong in the afternoon on August 15. In his absence, the Under Secretary for Labour and Welfare, Mr Ho Kai-ming, will be the Acting Secretary for Labour and Welfare.
