The Secretary for Culture, Sports and Tourism, Mr Kevin Yeung, today (July 29, Paris Time) extended his congratulations to Hong Kong swimming athlete Siobhan Bernadette Haughey on winning a bronze medal in Women's 200m Freestyle at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Mr Yeung said in Paris, "Siobhan Bernadette Haughey went to full lengths and claimed a medal. Together with other Hong Kong citizens, I cheer for her with excitement. She is also commendable for winning in two consecutive Olympic Games. I wish Hong Kong athletes more sterling results in the Paris Olympics."
