Castle Peak Hospital makes public appeal to help locate missing patient

The following is issued on behalf of the Hospital Authority:

     The spokesperson for Castle Peak Hospital (CPH) made the following appeal today (October 5) regarding an inpatient leaving the hospital without notification:
 
     A 32-year-old male inpatient, accompanied by hospital staff, attended an appointment for a document application at the Tuen Mun Siu Lun Government Complex this morning. At around 10.50am, the patient suddenly left without notification after walking out from the complex. CPH immediately reported the incident to the Police for assistance and informed the patient's relatives. CPH is very concerned about the incident and will fully co-operate with the Police to search for the patient.
 
     The patient is 1.77 metres tall and obese. He was wearing a black top, dark gray shorts and slippers at the time he left the complex. The hospital appeals to the public to contact the Tuen Mun Police Station at 3661 5800 or call 999 if they know the whereabouts of the patient.
